This price relies on tear pad coupons, which you should always grab justincase. The Green Giant $1/2 coupon expires 3/20, so great save here. The Quaker Oats coupon showed up just before the last Jewel sale. There were more tear pads of $1/2 Green Giant veggie tots or rings good through May, so grab some of those if you see ’em.
Jewel is running a Buy 4 get an extra buck off the GG products, so that actually makes them a moneymaker. Buying five Quaker products drops the cost down to 99¢ each, so use two of the $1.25/2 coupons. I picked up a box of Cap’n Crunch for FirstBorn that’s not pictured … it’s already up in his room 🙂

I wish we had the Quaker coupons that are good on any Quaker product. You might have to watch how these scan in the self checkouts. If you scan 5 items & the SCO may lock with a $1.25 coupon on 99 cent items. That won’t happen in the manual checkout lanes. Those $2 off 3 coupons of 3 years ago did that as well. You can’t beat 37 cents oatmeal. I’d buy 6 at 99 cents, = $5.94 – (3) $1.25 coupons = $2.19 and but 4 Green Giant Riced Veggies w/ 2 tearpad coupons for overage of 44 cents & that would be $1.75 + tax. … I’m using manual lanes this week.
Darn it! I don’t have the Quaker tear pad coupons here. I should have read your post here before shopping this morning. I went to SCO and my Green Giant coupons would not work. I had to remind the cashier there that you are allowed to use a digital store coupon with a manufacture coupon and she did manually take off my paper coupons. Whew!
Also, both hubby and my accounts have a 50c/1 UNLIMITED digital (store) coupon for every box of instant oatmeal. You have to get the instant boxes with this coupon and not the canister. It would be a MM if you could combine your paper coupon with that deal! My store would blow their top if I had any paper ones to try I’m afraid!!!???

Pissed that my local store doesn’t carry that variety & was forced to grab apples & cinnamon. Hope you like it (we rip them all open and fill up a container with a scoop so we can adjust our servings; also mix in plain oatmeal so it’s not so sweet.
