Jewel (almost) free deli & PetSmart clearance

The Thursday Jewel ad has a BOGO store coupon on 1/2 lb packages of DiLussa lunch meat or cheese.  There is also a $1 manufacturer coupon on 1 1/2 lb in the 1/29 S.  Since one is a store and the other is a manufacturer coupon, you can stack them both for some really, really cheap deli.  I picked up 14 packs of meat and cheese in approximately 1/2 lb weights and my total OOP was $13.22.

Note:  The store coupon is limit one coupon per transaction (the second one just does not scan), so you must break each transaction down into two 1/2 lb packs; they have stacks of the $1 manufacturer coupons on many of the deli counters, but they are the new coupons with the one bar code and will not scan at SCOT.  What we did was use the insert $1 to scan and then inserted the goofy coupons into the slot.  Makes it go much faster.

Next was PetSmart, where I had heard that they were clearancing out certain varieties of Mighty Dog for 27¢ a can.  I bought three full cases of 24 cans each and used six of the $2 coupons from 1/29 R1 (dog cover).  Total OOP was $9.46.

Credit to MUM for the DiLussa tip.
