The first thing I realized is that the new coupon software has rolled out in my area (it’s been rolling out around the nation), meaning no overage on Sheba (coupon scans down), so my OOP was $1.23 higher than planned to start with. Then the Tidy Cat containers I grabbed from the display marked $10 gift card turned out to be the $7.99 ones not part of the promo. The front end manager sent someone to get the right ones (didn’t care what type) and we waited … and waited … and waited… the front end guy came up a couple of times saying he hasn’t come up yet? The second time I replied that yes he had but we’d decided to stand in line and enjoy lunch. He got the point and said that whatever variety came up he’d make sure I got the gift card. And he did, because these are the lightweight jugs, not the 35 pounders and don’t qualify for the gift card.
Walgreens has Venus shave gel on BOGO 50% off, but the register only accepted the $2 coupon for the purple top can! And since you have to buy three cans to get the $5 RR and the register didn’t like the idea of using more than two coupons, this is a deal you’ll only want to work at couponer-friendly stores! which mine are…
