Today’s Amazon Gold Box is for at least the first 7 books of the Dresden Files (they’re up to about 15 now, with the newest coming out in a month or two – yippee!) for $1.99 each on Kindle.  Harry is a Wizard listed in the Chicago Yellow Pages; the only practicing one in country.  He doesn’t do love potions, find missing purses or perform at parties.  And as the series unfolds you (and he) find just how much he can actually do.  Next to Lord Peter Wimsey and Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder, not that toothy freak), he is my fave man.
