No longer focusing on the April 18, 2013 nightmare that was the DuPage County Flood (read those posts if you want more pictures) because so many lost everything, so here’s a shot of what I see out my side windows. Houses to the north of me were demolished; the land is now an official DuPage County Wetlands Prairie – even got a neat metal sign!  Last year was the first for prairie grasses because they take longer to germinate than flowers.  Every year will be more interesting, since something like 55 different seeds were planted. Little House on the Prairie – with internet  🙂
