Actually, the Jewel deal this week is even better than last week since you don’t have to buy in multiples of four to get the price – yeah, it’s a penny more per box, but still sweet. Since there’s still the $1/2 unlimited digital coupon and those beautiful $1/2 tear pad coupons, each transaction will give you overage in varying amounts depending quantity purchased. LOL! I was just coming here to tell you this! I went to self check on Wed. to try it and it popped up that awful red screen which calls over the attendant. She did manually enter my $1/2 paper coupon but I had hoped I would not have to argue again on this same coupon. I explained to her last week that the reason it rejects the coupon is because the computer sees the $1 as over the price of the 89c product. I think it would work just fine if the coupon was 50c/1. I even tried not entering in my number until after I scan the coupon but it still rejected it. Did you have any issues at the register? I only bought 2 this trip and also got cheap tomatoes/baby cukes and the 1/2 gallon of Deans milk with the transaction.
*I got the same plain cauliflower as you did bc they were out of the broccoli ones….we probably cleaned em out of those!? Have you tried the green bean casserole one? It’s nothing like the other 2!
We’ve gotten all 3, but see massive inventory on the cheese – Pita & I had 5 for dinner with only 1 being cheese and that was sufficient! Nope, I didn’t trust those self-scan registers, so took my 14 boxes + gum to a cashier and had zero trouble. How is it saving time when so many transactions require a cashier to intervene anyway? Yeah, they’re saving cashier time and payroll, but squat consideration for customers.
My one freezer is packed. I think we have 100. No limit in manual cashier lanes. No beeps. One of the Jewel workers was saying there should be a limit of 4 last week. I told him I saw something in one of the ads saying a limit of 4. I ran out of room. I have 3 regular upright fridges & 2 full size freezer. I’m maxed out in freezer space. I’m ComEd’s best friend.
Please confirm you have at least one backup generator for refrigerators & freezers 🙂

Actually, I’d probably buy more & store in fridge for quick use … if I only could find more tear pad coupons. I only have two left & I’ve not seen more 🙁
I got 8 today in reg check lanes and the coupons went thru fine like you said! Thanks…I did not have faith at all. They were busy and I was fearing angry people behind me if there was an issue. I got 2 Fage blended yogurts with my 88c overage and my total was $1.17 with tax! Then I came home and submitted ibotta for $1.50/2 yogurt bogo offer for a slight MM! I only have a couple more coupons left and may try keeping several in fridge for faster microwaving! Nice tips from both of you!
*It does say LIMIT 10 right on the front page of the ad! My store had plenty too.
