Another coupon from this SS is a $1/1 Purina Friskies Crispies cat treats. They are on sale through September 5 for 10/$10. This is a great price on cat treats – FREE! Update on Friskies: Only the Chicago Tribune has this coupon (as far as I can tell). Usually their sister publication, Chicago Wall Street Journal, has exactly the same coupons, but this time – ROCK.
Out of the 5 papers I got today, only 3 of them had the coupon. Choose your inserts wisely!

In the future, please let us know where you bought these “defective” papers (store and suburb or Chicago). The Trib is cutting back on the areas that get full inserts and we need to know which areas do and don’t suck donkey balls.
It’s random. Lots of comments here too — people who bought multiples at the same location and some would have the Q and some wouldn’t. This has happened with the Parade ones before…

Have had troubles WAY DOWN HERE in Marseilles with the Trib for a several weeks (all tho last week was all ok). I get 6 delivered – couple weeks ago 4 of the 6 had NO coupon inserts! I see them being delivered & I pick them up from the driveway within seconds of them being delivered, so the problem is not that someone is stealing them either. Trib extended 4 of the subscriptions by a day to make up for it – they said they cannot refund – just extend –
Ok – soooo – 6 Tribs – 6 Parade – only 2 of them had the Oikos coupon & Keri coupon. All 6 had the $3 Glade coupon.
8 papers, 3 yogurt coupons. and who in the hell still needs air fresheners? Make that nine papers (one from mom) and 3 yogurts.

My delivered papers in Ottawa had air fresheners and the SS insert. Newsstand copies had no inserts this weekend. An employee at the Dollar Store asserts that their distributor warned they’d be getting no further inserts in the advance copy on Saturdays. Glad ds’s smartski-patartski classes are starting in Naperville soon so I can load up when I’m back near civilization.

Even Hoy was unreliable. I’d say one in five had em…good thing is they are on sale at stracks for .99 cents…and if you go through the self check out and scan your coupons it’ll take off the full coupon value…ladeedah.
