Saw this on CW earlier: Walgreens August monthly deal is got2B hair styling products for $3.99. Starting Sunday, 9/1, they will be BOGO, at who knows what price! Grab them on Saturday after your store flips over the system to the next week’s sale – usually mid-afternoon, but ask to be sure. Buy two at $3.99 and pay with two of the $2 coupons from 8/4 rp2. Since this will result in .01 overage, you either have them mark the coupon down (as per Walgreens coupon policy) or have something else in your order to eat the overage. FYI, coupon has some silly wording about limit 4…

The Dark Side of Couponing
Thanks for the heads up! Remember that great run last summer on got2b products? I have been waiting for a deal so this was good to know. We are in the same area – what Walgreens do you find the cashiers to be “coupon friendly”?
Lisle is No. 1 and Steeple Run is a close second. Katrina Brown is the Lisle Store Manager and she has indicated on many occasions that she welcomes our business and this attitude filters down to the staff.
For those of you slightly further south, Steve from the Wheaton store moved to the Walgreens on 75th Street in Woodridge earlier this year.

Good to know! I appreciate your input! I still consider myself somewhat of an amateur at this, although getting better at rocking some deals. Just hate dealing with “those” cashiers..a big turn-off. In the long run though…it is all worth it!!! have a great holiday weekend!
