I read about this earlier this week on CW, but the OP was in another state, so waited until I was certain Chicagoland area would get this. And we did! In this Sunday’s Trib (I’m not certain of other local papers) there is a separate one-page insert with a $5 off – no minimum – coupon for Fannie May. woot!
So even if you pick up multiples at a dollar store, you are still $4 ahead on free Easter chocolate bunnies (or fudge or toffee…)!

just FYI, if your Menards has not gotten their Sunday Trib’s in on Saturday when you get there before 8:30am (grr, that’s 2 weeks in a row), you can get them Sunday, they are still $1 on Sunday.

ugh….got 4 papers at the Menard’s in Joliet..not a single paper had the Fannie Mae coupon. (and usually we get all the coupons!)
Plainfield Menard’s doesn’t have it either. Do you think it would be different for a different store? Like maybe Dollar Tree would have it, or is it just that our area must not have gotten it?

I’m with Geneva! my thighs, butt and belly do NOT need it…although my 6 yr. old who is super skinny will eat chocolate by the truckload…so perhaps I can use that as my excuse…a few bunnies may have to be sacrificed by me though! 🙂

Can’t you hit a dollar store and just buy one to check? It’s an expensive test, but if you hit a store slightly closer to metropolitan Chicago (maybe 10 miles closer?) you might have better luck. Even though I’m at least 20 miles southwest from downtown Chicago, I’ve always gotten the inserts.

I live in Aurora and I didn’t get a Fannie Mae insert in my Sunday that is delivered to me.
Not down here in Marseilles either. Kinda OK tho – I just would have had to tape the bunny on the ole hips – butt – Easier to take off the pounds that way !!
