EE $1 coupon expires tomorrow!

Kashi was clearance at $1.25, the Wild Harvest and Back to Nature granola packs were $2 and the rest was courtesy of that wonderful EE coupon.  The EE breads are $1.99 on sale – you can’t even get PP outlet bread for a buck.  I have lots more mustard in the bag (yellow is on sale for a buck) and about ten more cans of white kidney beans, which will be wonderful as the base for white chili (with our chicken sausage).  After all the coupons and $5 OYNOs, I paid out $1.50 from my Jewel gift card (the sunglass deal last week).

  1. Am I reading the coupon correctly? One coupon per purchase, per customer, per transaction….NOT per day, right? So, splitting up transactions is ok, unless the the cashier is willing to do it all at once?

    • First of all, I can’t see a Jewel employee accosting a customer for shopping twice in one day, but seriously, as with anything, ymmv. If you have a good working relationship with your store, then you should have no trouble with using more than one coupon per transaction. If you don’t have a good relationship, why are you giving them your business, huh?

  2. Thanks 🙂 I tend to shop at the Jewel in Addison on Irving ( I think its Addison anyway). Its on my way back and and forth from my daughters gymnastics club….but my local Jewel is kinda hit or miss, and thats the one Im heading to pre-bbq tomorrow. Hope you have a nice 4th !

  3. My Jewel on Summit Ave in Elgin gave me HELL for trying to use more than one Essential coupon. And / or they wouldn’t even let me do separate transaction. So we left everything for them to put back.
