Walgreens has Lysol products on sale this week at 2/$5 earn 500 loyalty points. Use the $2/2 coupon in the Walgreens Cold and Flu booklet or the .50/2 wipes or .50/1 spray, both in f8/4 S. I would definitely recommend the Walgreens booklet because 1) it’s a higher value, duh 2) it’s a manufacturer coupon that can only be used at Walgreens and 3) it expires at the end of August, whereas the insert coupon extends for a few more days (and if it’s Ultra, another month). I had a booklet come in the mail a week or so ago with additional loyalty point deals – Lysol was in there! So I ended up earning 2,000 points for one transaction. You’ll pay $1.50 a container, unless you get the 15% senior discount, in which case it’ll be $1.125 a container (plus high tax) and you’ll earn 50¢ in loyalty points on each set of two.

On to CVS for more vitamins. Remember how I told you to print, print, print those Magic Coupon Machine $2 coupons last week? Well, now it’s time to use those puppies! The Naperville store only had three of the gummies (goddess forbid PITA be forced to swallow a pill!), so one was 1/2 price and the other a BOGO. Ended up at $2.24 with .25 tax or $2.49 for all three. I’ll check at a couple more stores before the end of the week because each bottles will last less than a month.
By the way, the new store manager is coming from a store in Aurora and is currently splitting his time between that store and Naperville. If you know anything about a Sean (or Shawn?), please share, although so far I’ve only heard positives.

I had a complaint from one of the Aurora stores and I spoke with Sean. He was awesome. I have not met the guy, but he certainly stepped up and took care of the non-coupon friendly woman I dealt with.
Thank you – I look forward to shopping back at the Naperville CVS on a more frequent basis!
