Cottonelle for $1.50/12 pack – update

Don’t forget about this one-day only deal.  Start clipping your coupons now.  Wheaton was only able to get about 60 of these packs in – warehouse shorted them.

Walgreens will have a ONE DAY ONLY deal on the 12-pack of Cottonelle.

Remember that national catalina promotion where only the incredibly old UPCs were generating the cats?  They’ve fixed that problem and entered the new packages.  On July 31st the new August IVC booklet starts;  there is a $1/1 coupon which stacks with the .75/1 from 7/17 s.  Buy 2 and you will get a $3.50 Register Reward and buy 3 to get $4.50 back.

Best bet? Buy 2, pay $6.50 OOP and get back $3.50 – so $1.50 for each pack of 12!

  1. You can’t – not in this universe. I meant to BUY 2 pay $6.50 and get back $3.50 to arrive at the $1.50 I used as the title to this post. This is why god invented calculators, obviously. The two packs work out better than the three, which would only get them down to $1.75 each.

Thanks for catching my math mistake.

    • You can never roll a RR from the same product family (Crest to Crest, for example). A couple of times a year, tops, there’s a glitch and you can (and believe me, I’ll post about it). That’s why you read that people roll one cat into another deal, then use the second cat to buy the first deal, then repeat.

  2. I bought a lot of Scott TP a few weeks ago. I thought the price for Scott was good and now not so much. Hmmm What should I do?

    • Hmmm, I betcha I bought more rolls of Scott tp than YOU! About 60 rolls, to be exact. Listen up, ’cause here are my three rules of buying:

      1. Will the item go bad.
      2. Is it something I will always need/use.
      3. Will there be a design change in the future?

In this case, you will want to buy up as much Cottonelle as you can find (and have coupons for) because it’s a great tp and a great deal. Do like I do and keep the Scott in reserve for when the tp deals dry up. Trust me on this, you do not EVER want to pay full price because you ran short. You will beat yourself up over it for years to come…

  3. Why does it have to be Cottonelle! This stuff clogs up my toilet, probably because my GF uses nearly the same amount as you would with regular TP. Our toilet clogged a few times in 1 week, and I couldn’t figure it out. Then I realized we had just switched to Cottonelle because it was on sale. Ya, I’ll be sticking to the TP/PT deal at Jewel, but this is an awesome deal.

  4. Nah I have like 30 rolls combined of Scotts. Enough to last me until they do that deal again I’m sure. But if I did buy some, I’d pay 25 cents for TP and 75 cents for PT, something like that.
