Sometimes it pays to shop outside your comfort zone. Not that any Jewels are uncomfortable(!), it’s just that new stores seem to hide their clearance sections. but not for long… I’ll post-redeem at my Jewel as soon as I acquire more $1/2 coupons from 11/9 rp. Dates are 5/31/2015.

The Dark Side of Couponing
Besides clearance areas, where would Jewel normally stock this? The store closest to me did away with their dedicated clearance shelf a while ago and I only see random clearance endcaps pop up here & there. Sometimes they seem to just leave clearance stuff on the regular shelf if there’s a lot of it. But I couldn’t find this at my Jewel tonight. I checked with normal tomato stuff and the organic aisle.. perhaps they just never carried it to begin with and I’ll check other, larger stores but I wanna cover my bases. Because FREE!
Yeah, you’re right about clearance being stuck all over – BLAME CORPORATE FOR THIS! The stores that do NOT have a dedicated space might have it on a roll-away cart that is supposed to be kept in back Thursday-Monday morning so as not to interfere with the regular shoppers who spend $$. I really, really, can’t stress enough that you have to actually ask someone where it is because it travels all over, depending on the store. Do not just call them because you probably won’t get a real answer.
