Zaycon ham & sausage delivery reminder

Zaycon is returning to the Chicago area the end of February with two items:

Carvemaster old fashioned hams (fresh, not frozen); each 22lb order contains two individually vacuum sealed hams.  Works out to $3.29/lb.

Premium pork sausage links come frozen, with each order containing two 10 lb boxes of 1oz links.  Works out to $2.69/lb.

The chicken I’ve picked up the last two times is the best we’ve ever had.  If it’s too much for one family, then split with neighbors or family.  Remember, you have to be registered to view the offerings and to place an order.  Registering now eliminates one step.

Zaycon ham/sausage event reminder

Got this reminder email last night:  Zaycon is coming back with two items:

Their Carvemaster old fashioned hams are fresh (not frozen); each 22lb order contains two individually vacuum sealed hams per case.  Works out to $3.29/lb.

The Premium pork sausage links come frozen; each order contains two 10 lb boxes of 1oz links.  Works out to $2.69/lb.

The ham and sausage deals are new, but I can honestly say that their chicken is the best I’ve ever purchased.   If this is too much for one family (even kept frozen), then split with neighbors or family.

Zaycon ham & sausage events

Got this email earlier today  – –  and promptly forgot to post – sorry!  and doesn’t their title sound dirty?  or is it just me?

Zaycon is coming back to town with two items:

Their Carvemaster old fashioned hams are fresh (not frozen); each 22lb order contains two individually vacuum sealed hams per case.  Works out to $3.29/lb.

The Premium pork sausage links come frozen; each order contains two 10 lb boxes of 1oz links.  Works out to $2.69/lb.

While I haven’t yet tried their ham or links (we’ll probably buy links), I can honestly say that their chicken is the best I’ve ever bought.  And if the orders are too large for your family, split it!

Seriously, it’s not rocket science, people.  You drive up, pop the trunk and the nice men put the box(es) in your car and off you go.  Everything is double bagged in heavy plastic bags, then placed in a thick cardboard box.

Dates are the end of February, but as always, if they sell out for a particular location, that’s it.  And you have to be registered to buy.  My advice?  and we’re talking from experience here:  Register now, since it doesn’t cost you anything and you don’t have to order.  But if I get an email and post that they’re about to close a location and you have to register…SOL, cookie.

Just in case you were wondering just what all the hoopla is about Zaycon fresh chicken, here is PITA holding just one full breast from our order. I split each breast, rinsed it off, patted it dry and put four to a freezer bag into one of my uprights. I’ve already cut up a couple for a Thai yellow curry/spicy peanut meal with saffron rice that’s just about done cooking.

Remember, this chicken is all fresh, not frozen and works out to be $1.69 a pound for boneless, skinless breasts.  That’s what all the hoopla is about!  By the way, I’d register now (it’s free) because I’ve heard there’s a beef and bacon event coming up (don’t know any more info, sorry).

PSA – Zaycon order extended through today (10th)

PSA for those of you still on the fence about ordering fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breasts from Zaycon Foods:  You’ve got another chance for this deal!  Just got an email about ordering, which was odd because the drop off is tomorrow (for Bolingbrook) and we passed the order deadline.  However, looks like they’ve extended it through today, so grab some now.  You must first register with them to see items, dates and locations.

Locations range from Bolingbrook to Naperville and Elk Grove Village to Springfield.  Drive up, show your emailed confirmation and they load your box into the trunk – easy peasy. Contents are sealed in heavy duty plastic.

100% natural chicken has no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients.  This is probably the freshest chicken I have ever cooked with.  Don’t have room for 40 lbs?  Split them with one or two friends – – only $1.69 a pound!

Zaycon $1.69/lb fresh chicken breast reminder

If you’re still on the fence about this order, I strong urge you to at least register – you’re not on the hook for anything, but should it come down to the wire, it’s one less step. Current cut-off for ordering is this Thursday, but it’s always a while supplies last deal.

Zaycon is back with their fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breast promotion.   Locations are all over, from Bolingbrook to Naperville and Elk Grove Village to Springfield.  Drive up, show your printed payment confirmation and they load your box into the trunk.  Contents are sealed in heavy duty plastic; don’t worry about leakage.

Their 100% natural chicken has no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients.  This is probably the freshest chicken I have ever cooked with – their breasts are the Dolly Parton’s of the chicken world.  If you don’t have room for the 40 lb box, split one with one or two friends – – it comes out to only $1.69 a pound!

And if you’re wondering what you could possibly do with this much chicken (other than donate it to ME) or share with a friend, this Kitchens of India Paste for Butter Chicken Curry, 3.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) at $9.40 for six pouches on S&S is – – OMG, OMG, OMG — hands down, the best red curry dish I have ever eaten.  And it’s so easy ’cause they’re vacuum-sealed pouches and you just add the water and butter.   Again, this isn’t the cheapest price (it’s dropped down rarely to under $7) but to get restaurant-quality food for this price?  I always make three packs with 3 pounds of cut-up chicken so we can at least try for leftovers…  I also get another chance to use my coolest-in-the-world Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 5-1/2-Cup (Uncooked) Neuro Fuzzy Rice Cooker and Warmer.  And yes, this is the exact same model I bought on Amazon.
