Free cookies @ Walgreens!

Photo1.jpg

These Anna’s cookies are on sale this week at Walgreens – 99¢ instead of $1.99. Use the $1 coupon from 11/17 rp and enjoy free Gingersnaps!  The coupon/ad shows almond thins, too, but I’ve only seen the gingersnaps variety at Walgreens.  Look hard for these because they hide ’em:  one store had them by crackers, another in cookies, but between a couple of large tins so they weren’t easily seen.  Sheesh!  Gotta work hard for free stuff now!

Remember, if you don’t like gingersnaps, these would make a great food pantry donation because they’re low tax.

Free @ Wags: 20 5×7 Holiday photo cards

Do the Like thing on Facebook and Walgreens will reward you with a unique code for 20 5×7 Holiday photo cards sent to your email.  Personally, I won’t know if I like ’em until I see their Black Friday inventory…

Walgreens Black Friday coupons

The bad news is that the $5 Swisse coupon from 10/6 S1 does not scan on either the women’s or men’s multivite for the $10 FARR. The good news is that it doesn’t scan for any of the Swisse products – even those products pictured!  If you encounter a store that hesitates to push coupons, bring up one of the pictured products to show that the coupon won’t accept those products, either!

The Colgate Total Advance $1 coupon from 11/10 S scans fine, resulting in a 1¢ money maker.  If you need toothpaste or want an item to hit a price threshold…

BF Wags scans

I’ve given up trying to decide what you see or don’t see – just because I have 300 tubes of toothpaste doesn’t mean you don’t need a few, so here’s the scans for the three pages of FARR or free after coupons and RRs.  Please comment or send me an email if you see any decent matchups – we’ll have to make plans and contingency plans (when one item is OOS) for on-the-fly transactions.

update: Black Friday Walgreens FARR & MMs

Update note:  I haven’t included the additional RR deals because, well, they’re not FARR!  I’ll continue checking to see what coupons appear and update accordingly – who knows, maybe the not so good deals will have high-value coupons to sweeten them!

This is my current work-in-progess list of FARR offers for Walgreen’s Black Friday Sale and any current coupons – remember that printables can appear like magic, but you’ll be limited to two per computer; print now before the cap hits. On many of the FARR items I list only the current shelf price, while others are already tagged for the sale. One important thing to remember is that many of these items are BOGO or on sale through the 27th, but you won’t be able to enjoy both the RR and earlier deals – RRs will not print before the sale day and Walgreens has no control over this (unlike CVS).

I’ll keep editing this post and will update as needed.

Gearing up for Black Friday at Walgreens

Photo1.jpg
Realized I was down to 100,000 points and that would never do for all the magnificent FARR offerings coming up. I’ve been in quite a few Wags this past week and so far there seems to be inventory…

I added a few more bottles and 24 boxes of Nips candy for my mommy after I took the screen shot – which was before I scanned my card –  used my coupons and four $8 RRs and still had to pay out about $25.  crud

Build up your points for Wags Black Friday deals

Photo1.jpgBlack Friday at Wags is shaping up to be a real, real sweet shopping occasion – now if the warehouse will only cooperate with inventory! I’ll start listing FARR deals by tomorrow, but for right now, you’re gonna have to start bumping up your loyalty points to use with the FARR products. Here’s a little something I’ve been running for both product and points: Nature Made vitamins and supplements are BOGO this week AND you earn 3,000 points when you buy two. Since these are points, you can run all bottles in one transaction, which will endear you to cashiers everywhere.

Your purchases will vary, depending on whether or not you actually need supplements and vitamins!  If you’re only going for points, then take the $7.99 or $9.99 products and use either the $5 + $3 or two $5 Nature Made manufacturer coupons in the Holiday issue of Diabetes & You.  I always grab this magazine because they have some very good recipes…and coupons.  If you don’t want to clear the racks or can’t find the latest issue, Walgreens has the issue online and you can print from that.  Note that all the like value coupons will have the same number – both print and online.

and I say “Poppycock!”

cause I love it so...It’s on sale at  (regularly $4.19) and you can either have them ship it for free with a $25 order or $20 and have the store pull the bags and put them aside for you.  Even $20 is kinda hard to hit when your product is only $1.99, but I’ll take it for the team…

If you see anything on sale that has a coupon (like the .79 Carnation evaporated milk), you can always pay for it and then present your coupons when you pick up your order (obviously this is for store pick up only).  Even though you’re giving them your credit card information when you place the order, it won’t be charged until it’s rung up at photo.  This is great when you are trying to use up some RRs or have a bunch of mfr and IVC and ad coupons!

Oh, and the Planters PB and Welch’s jelly for $2 each?  It is to laugh…wanna buy some for a buck?

Don’t forget your free Lindt bars!

Photo1.jpg
Picked up a few last night to tide me over until I got home and grabbed the rest of my coupons!  Glad I waited out the Jewel sale because Walgreens has a much larger variety.  If you put off printing the $2 Lindt coupon I posted 2 days ago – it’s gone.  This week Walgreens has the Lindt bars on sale for $2, so $2-$2 = FREE!  Of course, here in IL we pay high tax, but other places…

The moral of this story?  DON’T WAIT TO PRINT.

FREE desktop calendar & FREE 8×10 collage @ Walgreens

Last day for the freebie collage deal at Walgreens.   Use code BOOCOLLAGE at checkout, choose store pick up and your 8×10 collage will be totally free.  Put together a group of the kids in Halloween costume or shoot a bunch of Holiday poses!

There’s also a code for a free customizable desk top calendar using promo code DESKTOP.  Again, using in-store pickup eliminates any charges.  Now everyone needs a calendar, don’t they?  Especially for free.

’cause free is good
