I’m saving 15% this month because of my library card…which throws a wrench into most calculations! Ended up running four transaction of one Soleil and one Flex5 using the $4 printables. OOP was $5.17 (high tax); I earned 120 everyday points and 3480 bonus points. Since this is less than the usual shelf price of the Soleil (let alone the Flex!), I’m happy.
$4 off BIC Soleil Shine coupon can be used at Walgreens starting Sunday, 9/10 to get some very cheap razors! There is also a $4 off BIC Flex5 coupon. If your local store is participating in the library card promotion, that’s an even bigger savings. The razors are $5.99 and if you spend $10 on BIC disposable razors you earn an 3,000 bonus points. In my case, I’ll have to buy more ’cause I’m paying less.
There’s also a bar code on the front cover of the ad giving you an extra 5,000 points when you spend $10; should be able to double-dip and earn 8,000 everyday points.
This week Walgreens has Fructis products on sale 2/$7. This includes shampoos, conditioners and many styling and treatment products. Use the $4/2 from 8/27 rp with the $2/2 September IVC coupon and you’ll pay 50¢ a bottle. But…..since this is National Library Card month and my local stores are participating, I got an extra 15% off just for showing my card. This meant it was free and since Walgreens registers don’t like FREE, I had to add something cheap to each transaction. I chose gum ’cause everyone knows I’m a gumcoholic. Check your local library and see what promotions they are offering. Walgreens used to participate but stopped a couple of years ago. I love this deal ’cause it is a straight 15% off, no restrictions.
Stopped for more Arm & Hammer laundry detergent and picked up a couple of the Dial 8 bar packs on BOGO this week: $5.49 for two less the $2 coupon in 8/06 rp, less the $2 SavingStar rebate. Always check the clearance end caps – – found this Alka Seltzer for only 78¢ with 12/17 expiration date. Yes, I know there’s a $1 coupon in the 8/6 rp, but I didn’t have it with me, you can’t post-redeem and the register would probably go goofy over the overage. and i did enough damage i’m not posting about …
Walgreens has Arm & Hammer laundry detergent on sale this week for only $1.99! Print these coupons and pay even less. I used points so my OOP was only $1.78.
Stack the $2/2 July IVC booklet coupon with the $3 any Mitchum from the 7/9 rp and you’ll have free deodorant if you choose the varieties shown (not the fancy-schmancy ones!). Since Walgreens registers believe IVC is a mfr coupon, you’ll have to add a filler, or just take the hit. My subtotal for 16 was $1.84 and I don’t care!

Walgreens has Blue Diamond almonds in the can for only $2.99 this week – use the $2/2 coupon from 8/13 S and pay less. I used my library card so my subtotal was only $3.08. Very nice selection at my store; I was surprised.
