Actually, it was 42¢ since I used points for the two bucks; this extra 15% library card discount is coming in handy! Technically it was $8.41 since the $6 RR was subtracted from the products purchased yesterday. Try picking up a liquid and a pods in separate transactions and see if they each qualify for the SavingStar rebate – who knows? I threw the Xtra in the cart to give the $6 RR something to attach to.
Lisle Library District has the September Library Card promotion and this year Walgreens has returned with a vengeance: 15% off everything (except things like dairy, liquor, gift cards, etc.) even sale items. Persil is on sale this week at Walgreens for $4.99 for pods or liquid. They also have a Buy four select Crest products and get a $6 RR promotion with digital coupons ($4/2 & $1 for toothpaste & $1 for mouthwash) on their site. There is a $2 coupon for Persil in the 9/16 rp and a $2 printable. Persil has a $2 rebate on SavingStar so I got $2.. My OOP was $9.94, less the $6 RR and the $2 SavingStar rebate. Not too shabby for a return to Walgreens shopping. I’ll probably run the Persil a couple more times, using the $6 RR and mfr coupons plus a cheap item for the RR to attach to since you can’t have more coupons than items.

Walgreens has Blue Diamond almonds on BOGO this week, both cans and gourmet pouches. Use the $1 and 75¢ coupons in 8/12 S for an even better price. Actually, I also used my Lisle library card and saved 15% right off the top!
