Tomorrow last day to use $10 Almay RR
Don’t forget that tomorrow, 9/28 is the last day to use that $10 Almay/Revlon product Register Reward. I mean just spend $10 and a penny (if you can manage it) and pay high tax. Don’t throw away ten bucks! You could even buy a couple of Revlon Colorsilk hair colors for that and donate – it’s not something they get!

Walgreens last minute B2G1 shopping
Decided on the way back from my Jewel score that I was gonna pick up some of the Almay makeup wipes while they were still on the B2G1 deal this week and then use the $10 Almay/Revlon OYNO coupon. I figured three would be enough to hit the $10 trigger, but they weirdly rang up at $3.19 each (instead of the $6+ they were earlier in the week!), so after the freebie, I was only at $6.38! Added another pack (all they had) but was 57¢ short, so the cheapest item I could find was this overpriced Revlon nail file for $3.29. I can always use a nail file, but for that price? Total was $3.76 with high tax, used $3 in points and paid the 76 cents in change and got another $10 OYNO coupon good through 9/28 🙂
Making money on Revlon at Walgreens
Need makeup and use Revlon? Here’s a way the Walgreens registers have your back. The system has coupons attach to an item, which is why back in the day it was so important to find cheap filler items on rolling cats of the same value from one deal to another. I bought 3 ColorStay eyeliners and used three of the $4 face product coupons from 9/8 S1. Depending on whether you buy a $8.79 or $8.99 item, you’ll pay under $2 each and get a $10 Revlon/ Almay OYNO plus a $5 RR. If you want to use a $10 coupon you already have, you’ll have to add a cheap Almay/Revlon item for it to attach to or forget one of the $4 coupons. Dayum, I’m gonna look good!

Got these four Garnier Whole Blends and four Garnier Fructis products for a subtotal of $4.32. How? Well, let me tell you… Whole Blends is on “sale” for $7/2 while Fructis hair treatments were B1G1 50% off. Used the $4/2 Whole Blends and $3/2 Fructis coupons in 9/8 R2, plus the $1 IVC in September’s booklet. I also added the 10% off $15+ purchase e-coupon to my account. NEVER ADD AN E-COUPON to your account if there’s also a paper coupon available because it will mess up the register. Total hot mess and you will not be the beneficiary of any mistakes. just saying, only add bonus coupons or rewards.
You can also buy only Fructis shampoos and conditioners for even less ($3.99 vs $4.79 for the treatments), but I wanted to try the different hair masks.

Use the BOGO Clairol coupons from 8/25S at Walgreens where you’ll also get bonus points and a $3 Ibotta rebate (limit five per receipt). I earned a 8,000 bonus points (check and add your e-coupons either online or in the APP).
Walgreens shopping with expiring RRs
Seriously, you don’t actually think I’d haul my fat ass out the door if I didn’t have an expiring $5 Register Reward, do you? I remember – back in the day – when the registers took an RR that was only one day expired. Now, eat dirt, peasant. Since I don’t really need anything, it’s a challenge to shop. Bought four Revlon hair colors at 2/$6 ($1/2 Wags digital coupon) and two Colgate Optic White toothpastes at 2/$8 ($4/2 digital coupons); the toothpaste earned 4,000 bonus loyalty points. PITA saw these clearance Good Health veggie straws, so for 44¢ each, I said go for it. Paid with a $10 Almay/Revlon catalina and a $5 RR; subtotal was $3.52, so paid cash instead of buying more crap to use another $5 RR.

Those $10 on your next $10 or more purchase of Almay or Revlon products Register Rewards we got last week say valid starting 9/1, but they’re already working! This week would give you free mascara plus a $5 Register Reward while next week’s ad shows a sale on Revlon Colorsilk at 2/$5 after $1/2 coupon. Note that current Revlon coupons expire 8/31, so this must be a digital ’cause we’re not scheduled for any inserts this Sunday (9/1). Ad says select varieties and only shows the regular line, if that’s a consideration.
