I’ve scoured what I could, but this looks to be the best on offer at Walgreens this week – great if you need plastic bags or love the vitamins, but don’t see any Crest or Colgate promos. Clipping all coupons and using promo code WAGS20 for 20% off Walgreens brand items will bring your subtotal down to $15+. Bags and toilet paper are the best deals, although I’ve never used their fancy tp line.
As usual, Walgreens is a disappointment this week – picked up some Tom’s of Maine deodorant for 99¢ after $1 digital coupon and $3 cash Rewards, but they were completely out (didn’t even see a spot on pegboard) for the 30 ct floss pics that are on sale for a buck with a $1 digital coupon. Used Rewards to pay and was soooo tempted to put the remaining 34¢ on Discover 🙂
You can buy either men or women varieties of Tom’s with the coupon and cash back promo – the men’s size is larger.
Buy two tubes of $3 Crest toothpaste. Clip the $3/2; subtotal will be $3 plus tax and you’ll earn a $3 Register Rewards. Pay with Wags Rewards and only shell out for high tax – I shelled out 42¢. If you prefer another variety, you might end up spending more – – the $3 tubes are the cheapest varieties included in the deal.
Note I did not get the RR (I was actually looking for Cash Rewards, based on the checkout info) and have given up on trying to explain these things to the constant manager turnover. While they’re always super nice about it, it’s too long to spend each time explaining what a RR is, the digital coupons and paying with Rewards. I just called customer service and $3 was put into my account immediately.
Picked up a few cans of nuts at the Steeple Run Walgreens – because let’s face it, we’re all getting tired of peanuts, right? Across the street is the new Dollar Tree and it’s finally going to open! Sign says 4/13, so we shall see. My life is so uneventful a new Dollar Tree gives me shivers.
Walgreens has Blue Diamond Almonds for 2/$5 less a $1/2 digital coupon, plus the Planters mixed nuts and cashews are $4.99 with a $2 coupon: subtotal $6.99 plus tax.
Prefer Crest toothpaste and Oral-B toothbrushes?
I’ve done this Crest deal twice now, once with manual toothbrushes and today with toothpaste. The manual toothbrushes were tagged Buy 3 get $5 in Register Rewards (the screen shows $4 W Cash); I bought four (one a clearance duo for only 80¢) and received a $4 RR. In this transaction I had the screen shot (there were no tags on any shelves) showing the deal. Bought two and received a $4 Register Reward. Again, nowhere near as valuable as W Cash. Each time I was told to keep the RR and had bonus points added to my account. I like the bonus, but really wish Walgreens corporate would travel back to 2011 🙂

I combined that deal with a Whole Blends 2/$8 promo that had a $3/2 digital coupon and earned $5 in Wags Cash Rewards. Mark the RR so you know just what manufacturer it’s from because using it on the same company means no new RR will be generated 
Remember, though, that any order that involves a Register Reward being printed CANNOT be ordered through order pickup. They’ll give you 101 weird reasons why, but the bottom line is don’t. Add the coupons and shop in person.

Very little of note at Walgreens this week, although I placed a ship-to-store order for two jars of Cantu shea butter curling product. No use for it, but after coupons it’s just tax and a very nice donation item. Unfortunately, it sold out for shipping between my order and shipping email. Decided to grab a couple Tom’s of Maine toothpaste because I get tired of mint :). For this deal, you clip the $3/2 coupon and put two in your cart, earning you $3 in Walgreens Cash for each tube. You could stuff the cart, but there’s only the one $3 digital coupon, no insert ones. I also put in a Reese’s candy bar to get over the $10 hump, great since it has a $1.25 coupon plus a 50¢ Walgreens coupon, which equals 4¢ happiness.
I redeemed $5 and will earn $6+ for both toothpastes and candy bar.
Total will be $3.99 before code and zero afterwards. Always choose the highest possible resolution.
