The 3/8 S brought us the $3 BIC coupon, which has always worked well at Walmart in the past. Out here in the expensive boonies you can find BIC Comfort 3 razors for $3.18 – BIC Sensitive 12 pks are $2.82; other areas could see razors considerably cheaper. Pair them up and you’ll pay tax. Women’s razors are always more. Note that the coupons read Limit Four per Household per Day.

Free Nutella!
Butera has a half-price or less sale going on this week (starting today) and one of the items is $1.99 Nutella! Use the $2 coupon in 2/1 S and get it FREE! I ran this two times at Butera, since their registers were programmed to only allow the two, then the price jumped and once at Walmart and the latter is definitely the way to go. Don’t get me wrong, Butera cashiers were great, but they couldn’t get the register to scan two coupons (I did have overage), nor were they easily able to override and mark the coupon down. Took way too long and it’s not worth it. If your Butera is super-coupon friendly, then by all means buy there – otherwise? Walmart is easy-peasy price-matching shopping. Walmart also had 2016 expiration dates.

Target & CVS shopping
Target had these Almond Roca in the Dollar Spot marked 70% off – -heck, yeah! Some over-priced clearance hair color, which provided comic relief, a few decent vitamin deals. This crave was $3.48, less a $3 coupon.
CVS was basically hitting up the few stores in the Chicago suburbs that I didn’t even know existed! More $2 Clairol hair color and still have a few coupons, so life is good.
Also stopped at a Walmart where the clearance section looked like the items had been moved there by a front loader. Even sadder than their condition were the prices…those $1 L’Oreal at Dollar Tree? Grab ’em here – all beat up – for $5.

Free shopping at Walmart
Stopped at Walmart to check if they’d replenished their Tabasco stock – they had – and found these Vidal Sassoon styling products on an clearance endcap. Bought and post-redeemed using the $2 coupons from 12/7 rp (1/31 EXP). Lot of other VS products, but those were crazy-high at $3.97! I’m used to the cheap seats…
free Tabasco sauce @ Walmart
Walmart has a temporary price drop on the 2 oz original and green Tabasco sauce varieties – $1! Use the $1 coupon in the 1/4 rp and grab some free hot sauce! Dates on mine were 2017. The habanero one is NOT part of the price drop, so be careful what you grab…good advice for any situation…

Walmart’s Daily Deal: $180 refurb Dell (no monitor)
Dell Off-Lease, Refurbished 745 Mini-Tower Desktop PC with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 4GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive and Windows 7 Professional (Monitor Not Included), all for only $180.57! System includes 1-year hardware warranty. I’d bump up the memory but the 1TB hard drive is nice. Decent deal for kids — and a nice spare coupon computer!
Thank you Bayer shopping
I should point out that I have been unable to find any Bayer chewable 36 ct aspirin in any Walmarts – you know, the $2.17 ones that provide the most overage using the $10/3 coupon in the 1/4 S. So I regrouped…

to Target, for the B2G1 Finish deal. Unfortunately, the $2.99 price being quoted in the blog-o-sphere appears to be pie in the sky pricing. However, when you combine $3.99 Finish with Bayer chewable aspirin ($2.19 each), you are looking at a much better scenario. I bought six Finish, used 4 $2.15 coupon (1/4 S), bought six Bayer, used two $10 coupons, and a quart of half & half and paid $3.99 (remember, Finish is high tax). Finish coupon is limited to 2, but I didn’t catch that. Which is not to say I would have followed it anyway, but I was bad inadvertently…

Then I decided to check out Jewel – she shoots and scores! – where Bayer was only $2.29! And Jewel’s coupon policy allows for overage on your cart items. I bought nine Bayer, a gallon of organic milk, fancy napkins and tortillas. OOP was $3.09. There is a new $1 Wild Harvest coupon, which I will post-redeem. It’s a Bricks coupon, so if you have issues…

Starting on Wednesday, Jewel will have 12-20ct Finish on sale for $2.99. 70¢ Finish is a great price after the coupon, but toss in the Bayer and it’s back up the truck time, folks!
Huge money-maker with 1/4 inserts
I had rad about the Bayer coupon, but wouldn’t post until I knew that we actually got it here in the Chicago area. The $10/3 Bayer Brands coupon has the following wording: Aleve 40ct+, Aleve-d, Aleve pm, Aayer aspirin 20ct+, one a day, Citracal, Phillips’ colon health, phillips’, Alka-Seltzer 32ct+ (excluding plus), Flintstones vitamins, Trubiotics, Truheart, Campho-phenique, Midol or Berocca 10ct+
The 36 ct Bayer chewable low dose aspirin sells for $2.17 (online) at Walmart, where their official coupon policy is to give cash in hand on overage. Note that this coupon expires on the 11th – only one week to stock up! If you see any good match-ups, let us know!!!
I like the BIC BOGO razor coupon, too, because we have almost a month to find a freebie deal!
Here’s a shot of all four inserts and the Target coupons from the 1/4 inserts for the Chicago area.
