So spent $42 and got $25 in gift cards. I can live with it
If you’re in an older home and can’t install central air and you have casement windows … you’re pretty much SOL for air conditioning! Or if you’re renting in an older building with the same restrictions, Target has a temporary price cut on the Whynter line of Eco-Friendly portable AC units – some are combo AC/Heat models as well! These are available online only.
Six packs (2 transactions due to Cartwheel’s Limit 4 per transaction, Limit 6 transactions per day rule). When the $5 gift card didn’t appear, I showed the Target.com site on my phone and supervisor said they could offer me $5 off for each set of two but weren’t able to generate gift cards – works for me! And if you think I’ve been buying a lot of toilet paper lately…you’d be right…
The Purina Beyond cat food was on an endcap for only $4.24…I say only because the shelf price is $16.99 (I checked!); no current coupons or Cartwheel.

You can either pick up while you’re shopping or order online and choose store pickup. If you use store pickup, you’ll have to have Guest Services cancel your order and repurchase using the Cartwheel barcode – this is a good idea if you think the store will sell out before you get there. The Cartwheel expires today, so you can’t go tomorrow.
Target has a 50% off Cottonelle bath tissue 9-pack mega roll plus a $5 gift card when you buy two! These mega rolls are great – 4 single rolls in one! Buy two packs of Cottonelle ULTRA or Cottonelle Clean Care for $10.99 each and you’ll pay $5.99 after gift card and Cartwheel! Use the two coupons and it’s $1.50 less…
Current Target promotion gives you a $5 gift card when you buy four Suave products (also Dove, etc., but the Suave is the best). These Gold Professional shampoos and conditioners are $2.54, so buy four, use two $3/2 coupons from 6/21rp and you’ll be paying $4.16 plus high tax for each set of four and getting back a $5 gift card (I paid $4.94 in total). Use your REDcard and it’s 5% less.
Trident gum is 97¢ shelf price. Stack the 50% off on Cartwheel with the $1/3 coupon from 6/28S and your gum is now 15¢ a pack! If you don’t want to bother with Cartwheel and/or the Target coupon limit, Walgreens has Trident for 3/$2, use the $1 coupon and you’ll pay 33¢ a pack, still pretty cheap.
Combine coupons with the current Target gift card promotions and you’ll pay under $1 a bottle! Here’s how:
8 bottles of Head & Shoulders @ $4.99 each = $39.92
Use four $3/2 coupons from June P&G = $27.92
Get one $10 Target gift card with current promotion = $17.92
Get one $5 gift for every 4 bottles purchased = $7.92 = 99¢ a bottle
Use REDcard and save 40¢ = $7.52/8 = 94¢ a bottle! IL classifies this as low tax so it’s not really a factor here.

Target has all store stock of the 25 oz bags of Purina Beggin’ Collisions reduced to half price – $4.78 a bag. If your 3/29 S1 insert contained the BOGO coupon, it’s that much better! Prices shown online are not reduced, but use the BrickSeek (Target) Inventory checker, enter DDPCI 083-17-0097 and your zip code and see which stores have inventory. Since Target inventory doesn’t work in real-time – it’s updated about 8 am each morning – call ahead.
