Forgot all about this freebie! Staples has the BIC Mark it five pack of fine point markers on sale for a buck (limit one per Rewards card). Use the $1 off any BIC products coupon from the healthy essentials 1/8 insert for free markers. I hate their deals that limit you to one, so only stop in when I’m driving past. One of these days I’m gonna try running the deal at different locations and see if the system allows this. Anyone know?

Head on over to Staples.com and order any damned thing you want and then use promo code 25172 during checkout for $15 off any order $15.01 or more. I chose FREE delivery to my closest store. So we shall see if it goes through…I’ve already received the email confirmation while I was typing this….My total bill was $1.04.

Just a heads up here, folks, to check your Staples Rewards account. You are told that Staples sends out emails with your rewards, which is a complete and total LIE. I just spoke with someone who had a couple of months of rewards in her account but had never received an email. Curious, I checked my account (same deal – no emails) and had TWO from October. They both say “Expiration 1/31/2012” which means if I hadn’t checked…bye, bye.

Figured this deserved its own post: The front page of the Staples ad shows the Buy 16-pk AA and/or AAA Duracell copper top batteries and get 100% Staples Rewards back. This is a great way to get more batteries for the coming holiday season and for next year. I always do this (just now Senor Clueless said why? we have enough batteries...sigh). Listen to the Goddess and not Senor Clueless – Do not be caught short in a few months, okay?

A reminder that the Duracell coppertop batteries 100% rewards promotion ends in two days (the 30th). Buy either the 16-pk AA or AAA’s and get 100% back as a Staples Reward…which you then use to buy more reward items! Rather like rolling your cats. I always stock up on these deals because mice and keyboards suck juice like, well, juice.
I picked up two packs of the Durcell 16 ct AA and AAA batteries (that’s the limit per card) for $9.99 each with 100% rewards this week. Used the $5 store credit I got in an email last week (make sure you check your junk/spam mail) and two of the .75 coupons from today’s P&G. Paid slightly over $14 and will get back $19.98 in Rewards. If anyone you know (or where you work) is tossing empty ink cartridges, you can get back $2 per cartridge, for a total of ten per month (so $20 for nothing). It’s issued as a Reward that you can use on anything in the store.
