Discount Laptops?

Here’s my last post for a while since I’m going to pick up a few inserts (Jesus loves me) then make money at Wags…at least I’m honest about it!  This deal is an odd one because I’m a Mac person, but it still seems awfully cheap for what you’re getting.  Discount Laptop Shop is offering your choice of several refurbished laptops:  the DELL Latitude D420 for $179.99, the DELL Latitude D620 for $219.99, or the DELL Latitude D630 for $249.99, plus $15.99 S&H.  Comes with a 90-day no-hassle replacement warranty.

And I’m counting on Justin to read this post and tell us what is good or bad about this offer 🙂

Vistaprint

Vistaprint - $2 T-shirt!
Vistaprint will be offering 5 days of $2 daily deals.  Today’s Vistaprint offering is for t-shirts, the same deal I used when I had the deranged.me t-shirts made.  Slight upcharge for grey and then a little more for solid black.  The final price was still low, especially compared with brick&mortar stores charges.

Wednesday freebies

Couple of free ecookbooks from recipe sites; you’re required to give ’em an email address. Think I’ve posted the Mr. Food No Bake Desserts before – seem to remember cheesecake.

Second offer is for 23 cheap and easy chicken recipes from RecipeLion.

Easy Feet

I’ve seen pictures of this Easy Feet thing and wondered at people who can’t bend down to wash their feet (however, I’ll get back to you on that after I finish off the Almond Roca).  Click the link and watch the whole infomercial (it’s only a few minutes) – it’s impossible to stop watching.  These Seen on TV people really know how to hook you.  And I’m not getting paid to say this…although it would be nice.

Vistaprint

Slogging through the ole inbox here…whoops! another couple of “deals” for Vistaprint:

Choose from either the banner deal or FREE 140 return address labels (you pay for shipping/handling), about $3.  I love Vistaprint, have used them for years, they will always have a deal…oh, and if you ever have a problem or a question, they are remarkably easy to deal with.  No troubles, ever.

Quiznos coupons – placed on hold

Forgot I even got this email….bad Goddess… the 30th anniversary deals are still going on.  Here’s a link for the following four Quiznos coupons (all on one page):

How about a guided speed boat rental with orientation and two-hour lesson for only $78 ($198 value)?  Chicago Premier Boat Rental in Channahan is offering a deal with 21 foot open-bow speedboats along the Des Plaines River.

Kick It Right is offering Pee Wee Soccer League Enrollment with Eight Games and T-Shirt for $42 (reg. $85) held at the North Lake Shore Drive and West Diversey Parkway (Chicago Park District).

Hey!  How about an outdoor movie party for up to 50 people with inflatable movie screen, sound system and projection for $162 (50% off) from Blazing Star Cinema?  You get an event host to set up a huge 12- or 16-foot, cinema-quality inflatable theater for you and 49 of your closest friends, supplying HD projection, incredible audio, Blu-ray/DVD player, tables, and cables.  Mileage rates are .75/mile from 60585 (Plainfield).

Other deals located on the bottom of the page include 2-hour Chicago Segway and Naperville Haunted House tours.

and yet more deal sites

I’ve posted about Bidz.com before and yes, I have purchased far too much stuff from them in the past.  If you don’t get dragged into a pissing match (the “I must have this” syndrome), you can score some very nice items for very cheap but always keep your eye on the shipping charges.

A new deal site (to me, anyway) is Roozt which claims to “connect savvy shoppers with cool & inspiring brands that make the world a better place… ”  okaaay, then.  I consider the world to be a better place merely by my presence in it…

If enough people are interested in Roozt, I’ll start tracking their daily deals.  Otherwise?
