Starting tomorrow, September 13th, Jewel will have O Organics ground beef on sale for $3.99 a pound (they also have the new patties for $4.29, but they’re so new my butcher’s never seen them!).  Use the $2.50 store coupon in the newest Big Book of Crap (which, in all fairness, is pretty decent this time) found when you come in, at the front counter, lots of places, and pay only $1.49 for the one pound package.  Coupon has $5 or higher price wording, but I don’t think these prices have ever been in touch with reality – – some items previously required a $1.29 price on a standard 99¢ bottle of water!  To recap, I’ve never had the slightest problem with the coupons scanning, but if you have a hostile Jewel or cashier, step back and either get a new store or cashier.  or a large plastic whiffle bat...makes a lot of noise but doesn’t really to any damage.

Starting today, Jewel has Downy on sale for $2.79.  Use the $2 coupons in the September P&G for some really cheap fabric softener!

Jewel has two MyMixx freebies this week,: 16.9 oz ZICO Coconut Water and 15 oz can of Madrinas Coffee.  Add these paperless coupons to your Jewel MyMixx account and redeem before 9/4.

Unless you’ve got the brains of a flea, grab the newest Big Book of Crap (starts today) because there are pages of really decent coupons near the back – including the O Organics grass fed beef.  I didn’t realize how expensive it is because my labels are usually covered by the reduced ones…now I know.  yikes!  After the $2.50 coupons my price was … cheap.

The clearance cart has been denuded of all the 50¢ spray cans of Febreze and Small Spaces – – there’s a BOGO coupon in Sunday’s P&G.  Lots of cheap Air Wick (no current coupons) and many, many gluten-free products for snacking, baking and cooking.

The Swanson Seafood Stock was 25¢, same for the red wine vinegar.  I’m pleased with the grass fed organic strip steaks on clearance in the $4 price range since I can return with the $2.50 O Organics Jewel coupon from 8/6 rp1 and two 50¢ Star Vinegar printables gives slight overage.  Makes for some very tasty savings.  Total OOP will be about $10 after post-redemption.
