Riding the Monopoly Gravy Train

The Delallo products were 75¢ and $1.50 on the clearance cart; I printed out a $1.50 and $1 coupon on which I’ll post-redeem.  High Hopes dog treat was 25¢ and I had a $1 coupon with me 🙂  More free gravy, courtesy of Monopoly.  I probably have seven already and got another few in this batch.  Checkout 51 had the Weber $1 rebate reset (limit 2), so if you’ve added it already, get your free marinade!  I’m doing all my stock up for grilling season – heck, it’s FAR!

Freebie Aunt Jemima @ Jewel

Grab a box of Aunt Jemima pancake mix tomorrow only (2/13) and it’s free when you tell your cashier “Pancake.”   This is one of those deals that don’t require a MyMixx account to score.

Jewel Monopoly & clearance shopping

Picked up Monopoly freebies (tomato sauce, Greek yogurt, 6pk Nestea), more Finlandia butter (spreadable going to friend), while PITA found the Gardein fishless fillets and “crab” cakes for $1.50 each in the end cap freezer.  I’ve had the fishless fillets at a food show and they were awesome, so paying $1.50 for 10.1 oz is less than buying fish.

3 MyMixx BOGOs at Jewel

As promised, we have three MyMixx BOGOS: Nature Valley Layered Granola Bars, Fiber One Supreme Brownie and Annie’s Organic Crispy Snack Bars. Add these paperless coupons to your Jewel MyMixx account by Sunday, 2/11 and redeem by Monday, 2/12.  I was unable to find the Crispy version of the Annie’s bars, but maybe it’s something that came overnight. for the promo.

2/11 S will have a .50/1 coupon for Nature Valley Layers, Nature Valley has .50/2 in a couple of inserts and nothing for Annie’s.  There are decent rebates on all of these, though, like Ibotta or SavingStar

MyMixx Sneak Peek

Three BOGOS and that’s all, folks:  Fiber One Supreme Brownies, Nature Valley Layers and Annie Organic Crisp Bars.  I’m not sure if the BOGO is for the individual bars, but I was only able to find boxes of the chewy variety.  There are .50/2 coupons for both boxes plus various rebates; the Annie rebate excludes individual bars and no coupons, so we shall see tomorrow when I print the links.

Jewel snow shopping

Hey, I went through the Blizzard of ’67, so this little bit of snow wasn’t gonna keep me from my free Nutella and cheap bagels, even though I don’t really like Nutella (too sweet)…and I wasn’t old enough to be driving during the Blizzard of ’67.  The Weber rebate on Checkout 51 has reset, so more free marinade; the aspirin was my first Monopoly instant freebie.  I’ll get more with the 20 tickets from this trip (I bought 40 Finlandia butter on the B2G1 spreadable, using the $1 coupon from 1/21S.  Solid butter will be frozen and the food pantry will pick up the spreadables).

Free Nutella at Jewel today only

Today only (2/9), get a free jar of Nutella at Jewel when you say “Spread the Happy” at the register. These Facebook Word of the Day offers are not dependent on having a MyMixx account.

Happy #BagelDay! TODAY ONLY (2/9) we have our Bakeshop’s Baked In Store Bagels 2/$1–all varieties! ????

Monopoly is back at Jewel (Albertsons)

Well, it’s that time of the year again, the Monopoly madness going on (here in the Chicagoland area) at Jewel.  The game actually involves most Albertsons-owned stores through May 8th. Here’s the whole story in Coupons in the News

“The good news is that someone is guaranteed to become a millionaire by the time it’s all over. There are two million-dollar top prizes available, plus four “million-dollar vacation homes”. Both are paid out as 30-year cash annuities, so they’re essentially the same prize – a million bucks. If nobody claims one of the six top prizes, there will be a guaranteed “second chance” drawing for two million-dollar winners.  And chances are good you’ll get some instant winners. More than 112 million tickets will award free grocery products – 131 different ones, valued between 46¢ and $24.99.”

I’ve already gotten a free bottle of store brand aspirin…they’re probably gonna keep it behind the counter for when I come in with special orders…
