We have two MyMixx Freebies this week: Hubert’s Strawberry Lemonade 16 oz. and Enlightened Ice Cream pints or novelties. Add these paperless coupons to your Jewel MyMixx account by Sunday, 5/13 and redeem by Monday, 5/14.
If you still have your receipt (I had to dig through the recycling – – in the rain), Ibotta has a $1 rebate. It’s not so much the buck, but you move up to bonus cash at certain levels.
Honestly, I only stopped in to get a couple of $5 gift cards from Monopoly, but found the clearance cart at the back of the store. And how could I resist??? Organic maple syrup from Canada, Swanson beef broth for a buck, Lindsay chopped black olives for a quarter…All you see here was $27, including tax!
Since today, May 8, is the last day to earn Monopoly pieces, figured I’m make another trip to redeem the free BOGO ticket coupons and use up some of the many freebie coupons I’m still accumulating. Super long receipt says I saved 100% on my $28+ bill. The water and tomato sauce are substitutes. They offered to substitute for aspirin, but I’ll hold off – – I’ve already gotten five bottles. Already put away the aluminum foil and Extra gum.

Since all I had in the cart were Freebie items, it struck me as a trifle odd that the total was about $9. Cashier didn’t know the Snack Artist was no longer available and Signature Select was the substitute, then my four bottles of aspirin should have been covered by the two Freebie coupons and a BOGO sale (like the chips). Also, the beef stew seasoning wasn’t part of the freebie because “it’s a seasoning. You add it right to your food while you’re cooking” from a cashier who probably can boil water. sigh.
Found the clearance cart hidden in the back near the pharmacy – hah! Lots of Nova Salmon reduced to $2.99, six cans of chopped black olives, Skippy single serve cups were $1 a container (good for PITA to take to school for lunch), nasty Cheez-Its were $1.25, except for the large box, which was 75¢ (we have 50¢ Monopoly Cheez-It coupons) and strange things like the chipotle mayonnaise and sweet and spicy yellow mustards. Sometimes it’s fun to try new things…especially if the price is right.
