Grabbed some 2/$1 Creamettes ’cause I’ve come up with a kick-ass pasta sauce we can’t get enough of (and I’m not a huge pasta fan…most of the time it goes in the donation box).  Those jars of organic sauerkraut were originally $3.99 – now 99¢ and since I already have clearance polish sausages in the freezer, instant dinner!  PET evaporated milk was 50¢ a can, so I’ll keep it for true emergencies, like running out of coffee creamer.  Now’s the time to check clearance sections for holiday baking and cooking products (many they ordered too many of or it’s a special item) ’cause the dates are usually years out.

These 8 oz packages of fake lobster (well, they contain some lobster meat, but really now!) were on sale for 2/$5 with 50% off stickers, making them $1.25 each.  Naturally I had to figure out a use, so I’m going to freeze most and the rest will be mixed with mayonnaise, diced onions, sliced black olives, seafood seasoning and these shredded veggie blends.  Serve on a toasted hamburger or hot dog bun for yummy snacking food while game watching.
