I took four of the 4L bottles of weird-name bleach – I’ll grab another six later on – for only 99¢ each, a great price and bleach is bleach. I use it not only on whites, but anything pet-related, so stock up deal. Think Jewel is clearing out the odd brands and that works for me (except for that nasty toilet paper). The CORE bars are in a refrigerated section near the deli by me.
On the hazelnut snack, turns out it was a last minute dump to clear the warehouse of a discontinued item; my guess is they didn’t have much to start with. Should have just put it on the clearance cart to prevent angry customers, since they aren’t substituting anything 🙁
Not only was the clearance cart out on a Sunday, but the store director said don’t miss the wine clearance! so we didn’t 🙂 My Mr. Goodbars were 31¢ and B2G2 this week (so 15.5¢ each), while the olives were about a buck each and PITA loves her them olives!
This week you can score 88¢ pineapples, a $1.99 case of red mangos, 99¢ a gallon for Jewel brand milk & 49¢ Pringles – the last three are Limit 1 items. PITA likes to eat mangoes like apples, we all love pineapple (I plan to try growing the top) and FirstBorn is due back tonight from Vegas (or early in the morning) so he will be shocked and amazed at Pringles on the fridge.
Just a reminder to grab those freebie items whenever you can find inventory – I’m still waiting on facial tissue :). Since we’re down to the last 12 1L bottles of Ice Mountain (had well over a thousand), anything free is a joy to my wallet.
Still have lots of those Monopoly free item tickets, so when I saw the shredded coleslaw on sale for 50¢ I grabbed a few and a jar of Hellman’s mayo, which I’ll use with Sriracha sauce and a bit of lime juice. Got 50 points from
