Saturday Sampler: Proud Source Water

The Jewel Saturday Sampler this week is a 25.3 oz bottle of Proud Source Water; add to your U™ account by Sunday and redeem by Monday.  This water comes in still and sparkling varieties and both are included in this promo.  Don’f forget to keep playing the Flavor Adventure game – 10 times daily – to earn prizes.  Yeah, most of them suck, but the cash offers do show up occasionally.

Recent winnings from Flavor Adventure

So far this year’s Flavor Adventure game has been pretty decent.  Today I won both a choice of the $15 meat/seafood, $10 produce, $15 personal care items, etc. PLUS this one-year subscription to Fresh Pass.  No way I’d buy this nonsense, but as Pita pointed out, you get $5 off and other discounts, plus Rewards won’t drop off the face of the earth at the end of the month.  Having a VIP hotline?  bwahaha

Jewel Rewards shopping

I had six Rewards courtesy of FirstBorn crap shopping and six from Flavor Adventure, so clipped $20/$20 coupon and headed out.  Cartload of items, but the best is Tillamook sliced cheese for $3.99 with BOGO tearpads!  Four dollars a pound for that brand is great! Ended up spending $7.26 with tax and that included a Nathan’s hot dog 🙂

This is great because it’s part of the $25/$5 June dairy promotion; only the one you pay for counts, though 🙁

Flavor Adventure returns today

This year’s Monopoly game in disguise (Flavor Adventure) starts today (6/7).  I keep getting a “technical error” when I try to start playing after registration and have to reregister, but hope that gets straightened out soon; did rather well last year.

Checking Personalized Prices one year ago, I see that my half and half was $1.99 a half gallon while the best they’ve offered me this week is $5.43.  Of course, if that counts towards the $25/$5 Dairy Deal this month, it’s great because we go through two a week.  FirstBorn is currently sucking down coffee in Vegas, so we’ll see how much we use when it’s just me (Pita uses plant-based goop).

Saturday Sampler: Orchard Valley snacks

The Jewel Saturday Sampler this week is Orchard Valley Harvest Snack Mix (7-8 oz) you’ll be able to add to your U™ account for redemption by Monday.  No extra freebie like last week.  Don’t forget to clip the $1 digital coupon to make this a bit of a money maker.

Jewel flavor adventure starts 6/7/23

This year’s Monopoly game in disguise starts a week later than 2022.  While you earn more rolls of the die for specific items purchased, you also earn them just because.  Those short videos should earn you more free rolls of the die if this plays out the same; make sure to add the recipes – no matter how disgusting.  As I recall, did rather well last year.

Checking Personalize Prices one year ago, I see that my half and half was $1.99 a half gallon while the best they’ve offered me lately is a rare $5.49.

Saturday Sampler: Orchard Valley snacks

The new Jewel ad shows Orchard Valley Harvest Snack Mix (7-8 oz) as the Jewel Saturday Sampler which you’ll be able to add to your U™ account on Saturday for redemption by Monday (I’ll post again on Saturday).  At least it’s not their chickpea line 🙁  Maybe Jewel will toss in a bonus like last week

2 Saturday Samplers? check acct

These both appeared under Saturday Sampler, not the freebie category; Pita got both as well.  Add a 12 oz can of Celsius energy drink plus this 11.8 oz Open Nature salad dressing for the Jewel Saturday Sampler to your U™ account on Saturday for redemption by Monday.

Saturday Sampler: Celsius Energy Drink

Their new ad shows a 12 oz can of Celsius energy drink for the Jewel Saturday Sampler which you’ll be able to add to your U™ account on Saturday for redemption by Monday (I’ll post again on Saturday).  Looks like they have 15 varieties, although your store will only carry the four flavors you don’t like ????

Jewel: chicken pate clearance – fancy!

Went to pick up a few bits of sale produce plus the $9.99 six-pack of Puffs at Jewel, since the price was under that of Dollar Tree.  Clearance cart wasn’t out, but I saw the lady and maybe by Sunday … of course I forgot to ask what was on it 🙂

Pita spotted these two varieties of paté marked down to 99¢ from $7.99(!); dates were a mixture of 5/26 and 6/23.  Neither was spicy, so I planned on using them in homemade dog food, since Master Charles loves his chicken liver and it’s usually difficult to find.

Well, they’re both very tasty – think high-end liver sausage. I’ll freeze most of the tubes and enjoy the rest on toasted baguettes.  Light lunch for hot days.
