Been without a car most of the day, so kinda hard to run deals and then post. Rachel told me about this earlier today, but I was unable to check it out without, like, WALKING to a store – gasp! calm down, calm down…This ad is in Thursday’s Sun Times and Chicago Trib. It’s probably in a few local papers, but I didn’t see any. Since the Sun Times is 75¢ and the Trib is a buck – – well, you do the math. This Carson $10 coupon is valid Friday and Saturday only with the usual exclusions. Last time I really stocked up on that big sale on k-cups. I only took nine, so lots more in the Chicagoland area. ’cause let’s face it, who reads the Sun Times except for their sports coverage?

We got the $3/2 Pantene coupon!

The bonus P&G insert from the 13th includes a $3/2 Pantene coupon in the Chicago area edition. Use it at CVS in the following transaction (original post is here).

Pantene will be 2/$6.97 (monthly deal) earn $1 ecb when you buy 2. You can use the BOGO coupon from the May P&G and you’re at the same deal you can get right now. However, there will be another P&G bonus insert 5/13 which will contain another Pantene coupon. Use the $3/2 coupon and you’ll be paying 48¢ and getting back $1 ecb. suhweet, huh? Limit one per loyalty card. Even without the extra $1 ecb it’s a good deal, though. Definitely a stock-up price.

Don’t forget to use the handy-dandy insert checker on the right sidebar. You enter the oldest inserts you have and it will tell you if any of the coupons are still valid. Otherwise – TOSS CITY! Lots of coupons expired 4/30 and, unless you do a lot of Ultra shopping (where they take expired coupons back 30 days), there’s no reason to use up precious storage space.

We’re getting three inserts this weeks, folks: Two smart source and one red plum. Best couple of coupons are pictured here. Smart Source I has this RARE (hehehe) $1 coupon for Ken’s dressing…in case you have already gone through the 20 you picked up two weeks ago. Weirdly enough, the second Smart Source is the one with the al fresco coupon on the front. At first I thought the section had somehow fallen out of the Smart Source insert, but all the papers are like this, so don’t look for any front page on this puppy, okay (the side still shows as Smart Source 5/6).

Here’s the back page of red plum with the coupon that will give us the FREE good ‘n natural energy bars at CVS starting the 6th. Since there is no card limit (although individual stores always reserve the right to limit quantities, at least in the beginning of the week), you could load up with as many bars as you have inserts. The al fresco chicken sausages are very tasty, but very pricey; Classico? well, $1 off two …

Head’s up on Allegra $7 coupon

The 4/1 SS $7 Allegra coupon has a very short expiration date of 4/8 and states limit one coupon per transaction. At this time I can’t be sure if all Chicago papers will have this coupon – I think last time, most of the Trib subsidiary papers (Wall Street, etc.) had it, but who knows this year?

IF you get your paper on Saturday (and your CVS hasn’t switched over to Sunday sales yet), head over to Walmart because the 5 ct boxes are on a price roll back to $5 (from $5.94). They also have the 6 ct children’s Allegra for $6.97, still free if not a MM.

BOGO Coffee Mate coupon

This BOGO Coffee-Mate coupon just appeared (to me, anyway) on the Target coupon site – but it is a mfr coupon, not a Target store coupon. Says for powdered creamer, up to $4.15 value. Expiration 5/18/2012.

Other BOGO products include gum, there’s a B2GO on lunch meat…check ’em all out.

New $4 Kelloggs IP

There’s a new $4/4 Kelloggs cereals coupon hiding on the Pick ‘n Save site (no store logo prints). I had to choose a store before it appeared on the top and right side. Ignore the promos about double coupons all year – you’ll just get sick. Short expiration date (3/17), so you might want to try the Target deal, where you buy five select Kelloggs cereals for $2.75 and get back a $5 Target gc, which works out to .95 a box.
