For the first time in about a decade, the price you see on the shelf for most items at Walmart is the price you’re going to pay. Period.
Walmart has announced that it will be ending its Savings Catcher automated price-matching program in all stores, effective May 14th. Word of the change came via a Friday afternoon “news dump” – a time-honored tradition in which bad news is quietly released just before the weekend starts, when most people aren’t really paying attention.
