Another Wags drifts to the dark side

Good news for people looking for fewer miles to drive:  The Steeple Run Wags on Maple about 2 miles west of the Lisle Wags has a new store manager, Randy Hutchinson, and he’s eager for our business (phone is 630/717-9333).  He assured me that he welcomes couponers and their special orders and he was just as nice as could be.  I ran two transactions of the Full Fast/Estroven combo but left the remaining 30 of each at the store.  They actually have over 50 of the Full Fast, but without the rolling partner it’s expensive!

While I was there, I spotted these clearance baking boxes at the photo counter!  If you’re looking for pumpkin bread or chocolate cream pie baking kits for 75% off, look no further.  Check your local Wags for comparable savings.

  1. No luck in naperville I have gone to two different walgreens and they r both limiting the abrexin to one per person !!!! So frustrating !!

    • They’re limiting the Abrexin because they don’t have any in the store or at the warehouse. That’s why corporate switched to the Full Fast sprays for the same price and why the RR that prints says Abrexin.

    • Which Wags was this? Because there’s no limit on Full Fast. In point of fact, they should be desperate to get rid of the stuff! Seriously, this Full Fast been sitting in the back since last year’s sale (you can tell by the expiration dates). Actually, I just visited a Wags where the expiration date was in a couple of months! Which means it’s been sitting there since TLC was an actual learning channel.

  2. The Walgreens in Naperville off of Rickert and Ogden. They had a sign in front of the Abrexin stating that due to warehouse shortage they were substituting the Full fast and only one per person. Finally found the Full Fast in Shorewood. 🙂

  3. Can you no longer use RR’s anywhere else? I used to be able to use them at Kroger, but now that the bar code is blue and it says on it to use only at Wags-even though it is a Manufacturer Q, I was told i couldn’t use it.

    • Only place you can use them is Wags and Jewel right now; Dominicks crapped out along with most of their coupon-friendly policies (well, actually, their customer-friendly policies). The wording doesn’t matter to Jewel because it’s still a manufacturer’s coupon, no matter what wording Walgreens puts on it. And I don’t think the bar code color makes any difference since Walgreens always has trouble scanning their own RRs! Around here there is a day spa/salon where you can use RRs for all services (wax, haircuts and colors, facials, etc.) on a $1.25RR = $1US basis. Maybe you could ask around about that? Or pay a baby sitter or cleaning person? Be creative, you’ve got nothing to lose.
