I had the J4U B2G1 Free on my personalized coupons with a limit of one transaction. Since DiGiorno pizzas were $5 for the Dominick’s Friday deal, I wasn’t sure what would happen. In point of fact, even after looking at my receipt – – I’m still not!!
I bought 18 pizzas and paid $37 before tax. The J4U was limit one – period. The way I figure it, 18 x $5 = $90, less the $30 from six B2G1 IPs, less $7.01 from the one Just4U. That works out to $52.99, right? I have never understood Dominicks receipts and I guess that’s the way it will remain.
But everyone has always been so nice and friendly to me at this Woodridge store (63rd), that you forget it’s Dominicks!
OK, here is my experience. I was going to buy 3 pizzas for $10.00 since they have the B2G1. So, at self check out I scanned the 1st pizza, it showed $5.00. I scanned the 2nd pizza, and the price for both went up to $10.00 and immediately went back down to $5.00 (for 2 pizzas). I scanned the 3rd pizza and the price went up to $10.00 for the 3 pizzas. Well, my momma did not raise any fools. I asked them to remove the 3rd pizza and bought 2 pizzas for $5.00. I don’t know why, but this could be related to how you were charged…….
I have given up on figuring out those crazy receipts! And thanks for the laugh.
