the candy is nice too, but i did a double-take at the firecracker. while jewel seems enthusiastic about the item’s debut in their ads, i never saw it changing the boundaries of their promotions. is this indeed the first hot food item for Saturday Samplers, even when also including the MyMixx era? and what about Words of the Day and Monday Night Squares?
That was exactly my first thought when I saw that sandwich – never seen a hot item before, ever. The WOD products seem to be new items which might or might not be around in six months (well, that was Dominick’s trial policy)
