An all-star lineup of alternative-rock bands hits the stage at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre for the 101WKQX PIQNIQ. With one of the most acclaimed albums of 2016, English synth-pop band The 1975 (“Somebody Else”) headlines the show. Indie-pop band Bleachers plays infectious, ’80s-influenced songs like “I Wanna Get Better.” Jimmy Eat World was launched to stardom with its smash debut, Bleed American, and is still going strong with its ninth release. Chicago’s industrial giants Stabbing Westward are reuniting for their 30th anniversary, bringing the fuzz along with Grammy-nominated rockers Highly Suspect (“My Name Is Human”). Rounding out the concert, pop-punk hitmakers Sum 41 join Chicago-based hip-hop artist K.Flay, indie-rockers Joywave (“Dangerous”) and dream-pop group Warpaint.
