Had an idea that SuperWalmart carried individual El Monterey products – they didn’t have them in the regular stores – and I was right! Use the $1 coupon from 1/27S for FREE food! I got breakfast burritos, too, all for a buck! The coupon was not national, so check the data base to see if you got it. Here in Chicago it was in the Chicago Tribune. Since I was already there, I picked up a few boxes of Purina cat food (’cause that’s all they had).

The Dark Side of Couponing
Did your walmart give you the overage for the cat food? One lady at my store gave me the overage for the few boxes they had left, but the next time I went the other lady price adjusted each one down. And out of curiousity…how many papers do you have delivered each week?
One WM marked down the coupon, the other put them through at what they scanned: $3.25, with the overage going toward the high tax.
I get 8 Sunday papers delivered, with more inserts donated by family and friends and wherever else I can find them. Check Starbucks, train stations, some libraries let you take the ads…lots of ways to increase your stash.
