Wags, Almay, etc.

Picked up about 54 or so Almay, a few toothbrushes (yes, I cleared the shelf), some Tena pads…this is exhausting work!  Here’s how I converted some Almay RRs into Tena ones (silly to have a wad so thick you can’t close your wallet).   Take one Tena, one Plackers and two of the pocket tissues (or other filler totalling .51).  Pay with the $2.50 Tena coupon and 2 $5 RRs from Almay.  Have the cashier manually enter one tissue as .26 (not .25).  Your total comes to around a buck (depending on the tax) and you get back $10 Tena and $2 Placker.  Pretty sweet, huh?

  1. Ithought you couldn’t pay with a Tena, for a Tena and get a reward??? I got clipped, cuz I paid with a Almay, for an Almay. (I grabbed the wrong side of RR’s… also a bursting wallet of Wags money!!!) I found two more Almay coupons in my car. Must of slipped out somehow… The manager rerang, and honestly was a doll. I am gonna run a bunch of Tena today, as next week really doesn’t look so exciting and I can’t run to the local Jewel and spend them!

    • I’m still not sure about your comment. I paid for the Tena with 2 Almays, the Tena pdf, and had the Plackers and two pocket tissues for filler. If you find a filler for .51 and above, you don’t need two. In my case, the tissues were .25 each, so mgr increased the cost of one to .26, bringing the fillers up to .51 and the total (less tax) to $10. I HATE when they do that .99 price and give you the $1 RR. Totally messes up the math. Still, when you figure that I paid OOP 1.03 and got back $12 in RRs, I’m not too upset.

      • Sorry… it was EARLY when I saw that! I forgot about the Tena coupon! Which I promptly printed and ran out with! (I was thinking it was a Tena RR.) I ran a zillion of these today! Excellent idea!!! I hit idk, SIX? I ran towards a different side of town looking for the Crayola Glow thing at Target. I found 4! Excellent deal! The 8 year old has a party tomorrow, so it’s perfect! I was aiming for the highway to come back after four Wags, and ran past two more… I didn’t even know we had that many in town. Life is good! I used the clearance old fashion candy classics Caramels, (because hubs & daughter #3 love them) instead of tissues. It was a great combo idea! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You rock!
