Apparently people (read: customers) weren’t overly thrilled at the $5.52 shipping charge on the $2 customer t-shirt.  Based on this feedback, Vistaprint was able to do some negotiating with their pricing team and get the starting shipping price discounted by 25%, down to $4.14.
