Krispy Kreme is giving away free donuts at their US and Canadian retail stores, no purchase necessary.  Illinois has three locations:  Bloomington, Elk Grove Village and Fairview Heights(?).

Dunkin’ Donuts is giving away a free donut with a beverage purchase.
