The I’m Not That Clean Tour…

I just had to take a picture of these “almost a health food” corn dogs on clearance at Target – $1.48! I actually bought 3 boxes of the Classic ones – FirstBorn just asked how many they had left because they’re really good…better than Speedway. Do I know how to show my family a good time or what?

By buying two of the Glad trash bags (various types) and using the $5/$25 Target coupon from 3/2 SS, stacked with the $1.50 Target Glad coupons from 4/13 S and a 10% discount courtesy of Cartwheel – well, it gets mighty cheap, considering you are also getting a $5 Target gift card with every purchase of two.  The Target on 63rd was pretty much wiped out or I would have grabbed the bonus boxes other people are finding.

The Dr. Scholl’s Dreamwalk gel soles is a sweet deal when all the stars are aligned:  There’s a 20% discount on Cartwheel, so grab the $4.94 arch or ball of foot inserts and use the $2.50 Target coupon from 4/27 S, with this $2 mfr coupon from the Dr. Scholl’s site (under Savings and Offers…see more).  I used REDcard for overage towards the Glad.

  1. I got the ‘healthy’ corndogs yesterday too! Same price! Only one box on the shelf though, so more like a snack. I also found some Tyson chicken breasts, frozen and thin cut for half price! I love grabbing their meats on clearance! And using their coupons on them!!! Use to hate Target, but it’s slowly getting more of my green again.

  2. Can you post redeem at Target? I just saw there’s a Target coupon on the Tyson and I am heading back for something else.

    • While it’s not the official policy, three or four of the stores around here take them back 3 days, so go in with your coupons ASAP and see what happens.

  3. Will do! Spanks! Still a fantastic deal without, but since I am heading back anyhoo.

I have a daughter graduating and saw an end cap with the exact color of M & M’s I almost bought with the Groupon this week. Heading back with those coupons, so pennies on the dollar! I did more with her school color as a theme for the Open House. I will send photos when we do it. I assume Pita graduates next year? Or is she almost done too?

    • Senior banquet next week and prom a few days thereafter, giving them plenty of time to recover before the 5/30 ceremony. Found an all-silk, NWT ($130) dress for prom at an upscale resale shop for $20!

  4. Prom here Saturday, mine borrowed a dress! Although, $20 ROCKS! Their actual ceremony is the 21st and then they do an all night lock in, some place amazing, but undisclosed! It’s usually a fantastic evening and they have high 90% of the seniors attending. When is your Open House!? And Target did indeed take the coupons! Paid for my greeeeeeen M & M’s stash! Feeling loved!

  5. I went out to another Target in search for frozen food and to my surprise I found more markdowns than earlier this week, including those corn dogs! PLUS another $2.50/1 Glad trash bags Catalina printed. So, now I have two which will work with my slightly expired $5/$25+ coupon. (Have you noticed the registers don’t beep for expired coupons?)

Anyways. Here’s a fun frozen chicken deal I scored today: http://instagram.com/p/ndwxUSsiXA/
