Target – in vain pursuit of Bounce

Since I was way down south for a funeral all day, decided to see if I could find any Bounce in a – shall we say more of a couponing wasteland.  No Bounce, Heinz was $2.69 and god knows, I did not need any picture frames.  What I would have liked was this Maybelline Baby Lips balm for 99¢ or less using both this $1 coupon and this $1 Target store coupon good on any Maybelline beauty product (under beauty category).  You could also use your Almay overage at Walmart to reduce the price if you’re tired of Target.  Read some very nice things about this lip balm.

  1. Woodridge Target isn’t accepting the $2 Heinz coupon stating that the coupon should say “and” instead of “or”….I hate that store!

    • Seriously? Target corporate put out their coupon a FEW WEEKS AGO and this is the first we’ve heard about a mistake in wording? They have no shame – and I have no problem getting freebies from them (well, I didn’t in the past, but now I’m righteous about it!).

      • Actually they changed the wording on the coupon a couple days later so it printed with AND — it was an error. that being said as far as I have heard stores were honoring if you had one with the old wording.

  2. Here is another reason I hate the Woodridge location. I did the pasta sauce deal (price drop of $1 and coupon for $1.50 off two). I bought 4 bottles, one of which rang up $1.52. I didn’t notice until after I paid. I went to CS and the store mgr (Sue) stated that one variety wasn’t $1. I told her that there were more on the endcap with a big ass sign “$1.00”. So, she allowed me to exchange and get the correct one and refused to give me any money back. Wait a minute, I wasted my time and exchanged a higher-priced item for a lower-priced item and I don’t get any money back??? WTF???!!! That bullshit logic only makes sense at that store.

    • No, the weirdest part is that I have NEVER had any problems at that store! In fact, when I was buying those Crayola go things a couple of years ago, I returned one and because I’d used a coupon, I made enough back on that one return to pay for all the other items I kept. And yes, I believe you because Target is almost on a par with Dominicks.

  3. If that’s the case, the next time I want to shop there, I’ll go with you because I have had numerous issues there (Glade deal, cereal bowl deal, etc). The Dominicks next door has been fantastic since Rick took over as mgr, IMHO.
