50% off Fresh Turkey and 25% off merci European Chocolate Cartwheels combined with the $10/$50 in-ad coupon from Sunday’s Target ad plus $1 off merci chocolate less REDcard means I spent $19.53 OOP (or .50/lb for Butterball turkey).  And then I submitted my receipt for a $1 Ibotta merci refund.  What’s Ibotta?  A smart phone APP that pays you cash when you scan the product UPC and receipt; money goes in your Ibotta account and you can cash out when you hit $20.   My confirmation emails come within seconds!

Considering the smaller of the two turkeys was over $20, I’m pleased.  While I could navigate the Jewel aisle, frankly the frozen turkeys they had were Mutant Size and I’d have to rent an oven just to roast one.
