Really wanted Pantene, but this Target had prices $1-2 higher than other stores, and that totally queers the deal, kwim?  Instead I picked up 8 of the L’Oreal, in two transactions (yes, only 3 are required for the gift card, but buying four still makes sense).  Also cruised by the frozen clearance section and basically cleared out their organic section – the ravioli pictured is $1.98 while lots of veggies were less.

A side note here:  Make sure you always have someone scan items to see if they’re part of the gift card promotion – most of the $3.99 Pantene items were never tagged.  You’ll hear it’s kids pulling off the tags, but those same delinquents never bother with the $6.49 tags…Well, it makes sense for Target to push the ones they make more money on, but it doesn’t mean we have to pad the bottom line for them!
