Today is the expiration for so many coupons (excluding Dominicks, of course), so I checked out a few Targets in my spare time – like three… cause two were empty.  Although I should note here that every one of them had all their Christmas stuff at 75% off.

Ended up at the SuperTarget in Warrenville, where I loaded up on all the things in the picture.  Used a combo from the December and January P&G inserts where a bar soap or body wash purchase gets you lotion up to $7 and then used the $2 coupon on the bar soap.   Picked up 3 packs of D batteries for a friend’s flashlights.  I didn’t think anybody still used this size battery:  it’s huge!

Total was $17.52.  The cashier had to rering the order because a few coupons were missed.  I see that I didn’t get the $3 for the batteries taken off, so my total is off by that amount.  Honestly?  By the time I leave Target most of my life force has been sucked out of me – and not in a fun manner, either.  I’m just going to eat the $3 because the whole receipt is going to go towards the Olay $20 rebate, so I’ll still be ahead a few bucks.

And just so you know?  I used cash, ‘cause as far as Target knows, I’m dirty with bad skin…
