Today’s been a cruddy day…spent most of it traipsing about to different kid doctors.  It would have been nice to just sit there reading, but nooooo, they have to keep asking me questions.  What do I look like, her mother?  Oh, wait, scratch that.

I’ll admit, I put off going to pick up the free pet food pouches at PetSmart for quite a few weeks.  Coupons expire on Wednesday, so couldn’t put it off any longer.   Naturally, they were sold out of the dog ones, so stocked up on dry cat food and those Fancy Feast Appetizers (those things are incredible!  entire shrimp and identifiable body parts) which used up the overage from the $2 coupons.

My OOP on this order?  $1.81, of which $1.63 was tax. grrrrr

For those of you who delayed getting the free pet food from PetSmart, the coupons expire on the 15th.  The 8/15 SS had three coupons for Purina One:  $2 off any size dry dog food; $2 off any size dry cat food and one free pouch (up to $1).  You can see where I’m going with this, right?  Pick up as many of the pouches as you can (they are less than a buck) and use the overage on something else.  Maybe something that doesn’t have a coupon?  Gasp!

I’m one of the ones who put off this deal, so I’ll be heading over there tonight.
