Goldstar has comp tickets to most performances of the 13th Annual Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.  The lucky 13th year of this venerable Chicago comedy institution is sketchier than ever, with dozens of the world’s best writers and performers converging on the Windy City for a series of shows spread over two weekends. Unlike improv, sketch comedy is fully scripted, in the tradition of classic shows like Saturday Night Live and MADtv, so you’re likely to see a polished and plenty hilarious performance from each and every troupe. Boasting everything from solo shows and musical duos to full bands and all manner of all-male, all-female and mixed groups, the 2014 fest features talent from some of the top comedy outlets around the globe, including Chicago’s own Second City, pH Comedy Theater, The Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade and even Ireland’s top comedy trio, Foil, Arms & Hog.
