P&G on Facebook
This has been posted on numerous sites, but I’ll throw it out anyway: at some point today (heard 11 am cst), P&G will be giving away “something” if you like them on FB. One site posted that it is a booklet of high-value coupons. Now P&G claims that “Is it a coupon? NO! Is it a sample? NO! Is it worth over $100.00? YES! YES! YES!” so a book of coupons would be different from a single product coupon, right?
So click here and “like” them, then sit around waiting like the rest of the the world (insert sarcasm here). This picture has nothing to do with the promo, I just like it.
Trip to Paris anyone?
When Hallmark was being so generous with their candy, cards and tchotchka, I felt compelled to actually register with them (what are all these email addresses for, otherwise?). It’s not so bad, really, because I just got an email about a giveaway of a trip to Paris, France (and yes, they said Paris, France, like I’m thinking it’s Paris, Texas or someplace). Giveaway time! Announcing the Winner
Apparently having the PITA pick a winner on a snow day was too much to ask of her…which explains the delay in announcing the winner. However, now she has done so, and in her own inscrutable fashion, has chosen Cathy Lenahan as the winner. Cathy said: My girls (2 mini doxies) would like a new coat and some new toys to chew and shred! so we’re giving them that opportunity. I’ve contacted Cathy by email and, in the unlikely event she doesn’t respond by Friday 5 pm, another winner will be selected.

And we’ve got a goody here, peeps! A reader has generously donated a $100 gift certificate to her pet shop, Puppy Parlor, which can be used to purchase any general merchandise. Even better is that she’s running a 50% off sale on all merchandise (very few exceptions, like food), so your extreme couponing dollar goes even further!! (She also has some sale puppies, but they’re not part of the deal!). The shop is located in downtown Lisle where you can choose from a wide variety of designer “stuff” for dogs and cats of all sizes (she even has some reptile, fish and boydz “stuff”).
