Zaycon’s Chicken Event February 1st

The Zaycon Chicken Event will be held on February 1st at most locations around Chicagoland.  If you haven’t even registered, move on it!  And if you’ve never tried Zaycon chicken before, you’ll be amazed at the freshness.  Event cut-offs are always the day before, to allow time to load the various trucks – don’t wait until the last minute (I did, the first year).

The boneless, skinless chicken breasts (fresh, never frozen) are available now for delivery in February for $1.89 lb. (40 pound boxes).  If you’re planning a full grilling season, don’t delay because they usually sell out and the next Chicken Event isn’t until Fall.

Zaycon will be holding a Sausage and Bacon Event in early March – also high quality.

I noticed signs on the cooler/freezer doors at Target yesterday, stating that their chicken is born, raised and processed in the United States.  Sad that we’ve come to this with our food (but good for Target).

1 week left to order Zaycon chicken

chicken_rushLast week (unless they sell out earlier) for placing orders for Zaycon’s semi-annual chicken breast event.  Your order has to last through winter, since Zaycon won’t be back until Spring.  Cost breaks down to $1.84 a pound for boneless, skinless chicken breasts.  Zaycon chicken breast is:

• 100 % natural chicken with no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients
• Comes directly from the processor and has never been frozen
• Sold by the case — 40 lbs in each case

Everyone says that this is the best-tasting chicken they’ve ever eaten – we agree. These breasts are juicy, tender and HUGE. Too much chicken for your family? Split a box with family, friends and/or neighbors – lots of people do it that way.

Illinois pick up locations are all over the state – Bolingbrook to Naperville and Elk Grove Village to Springfield. They now hold events all across the nation; other states also offer eggs, honey and milk.  Pull up with your email confirmation in hand and they load your box into the trunk – don’t even get out of the car. Contents are sealed in heavy duty plastic inside a thick, waxed cardboard box.

To see any of the locations, products and dates, you have to be registered. Which means one less step later.
