Pet stores that care about puppies don’t sell them. That’s because the majority of pet stores that sell puppies carry dogs from cruel and inhumane puppy mills. Puppy mills are like dog-making factories with the mother dogs spending their entire lives in cramped cages or kennels with little or no personal attention or quality of life. When the mother and father dogs can no longer breed, they are discarded or killed.

I have problems with this organization and here’s why:  No one wants to support animal abuse – ever – but I’ve seen these protesters standing on the streets outside pet stores, literally screaming at people just pulling into the lot, not necessarily even going to the pet shop!  PITA and I have been yelled at (with bullhorns) just for delivering newspapers.  Very, very upsetting to my daughter, especially when they claim she supports animal abuse.
