Yes, that’s one of the oddities of the way we use coupons:  Buying items we don’t want or need in order to get other things cheaper.  although free is best!

In this case, I needed milk, which was $2.99, so I purchased two of the Almay cosmetic items and paid $4.42 after the $5.79 sale price and two $4 coupons.  Got $6 in ecbs, which I used to get two gallons of Dean’s milk for .10.  So total cost of milk, including tax, was $4.52…and PITA got more makeup…
